When you brew up some Sumatran, the aroma really grabs you like no other coffee. Personally, I may not be able to identify a particular coffee just by smell, but I can smell a Sumatran brewing from 20 feet away. Wild, earthy, and even pleasantly musky, with a heavy, almost syrupy body, Sumatra Mandheling is a favorite of our regular customers. Of all our coffee offerings, this one is beyond question the most exotic in character and flavor.

How are we able to do this? By using the smallest commercial roaster on the market and roasting no more than 15 lb batches. No dreams of grandeur here. We keep it real and we like it small.
